Anatomy of a Legalized Document
时间:2012-2-15 14:44:55

Updated: 11 October 2012

This guide is intended as a companion to our booklet on Legalizing Documents for Use in Mainland China

This document contains pictures of commonly encountered certifications, such as notarizations and translations. Most important, however, is the China Authentication certificate - a depiction of which is found on the first page - that must be affixed to your documents before sending them to China for use in legal proceedings.

Aside from the China Authentication, which is mandatory on all legalized documents and of a uniform design and colour, the images contained herein are examples meant for illustration only. Notarization and other government certificates vary considerably in design and content between international jurisdictions.

If your require assistance obtaining or otherwise understanding the legalization process, we suggest you contact a legal professional for advice.
